RGES follows the Public School schedule for snow days. Albuquerque classes follow the APS schedule for cancellations and delays, and our Rio Rancho classes follow the RRPS schedule for cancellations and delays.
Delays
If we're experiencing a delay due to snow, we do not push our class times back. If we experience a delay, we will not have classes within the period of delay. If there is a two hour delay please come to class two hours late and attend the class you would normally attend at that time.
If a delay falls in the middle of a class period, plan on attending the latter half of that class. For instance, if we are experiencing a 3 hour delay and electives begin at 8 am, you would come to class at 11:00 and attend an hour of your second period class. If a class begins at 8:30, you would come to class at 11:30 for a 3 hour delay, or 10:30 for a two hour delay, etc.
