Rio Grande Enrichment Studies offers a Traditional, Tutorial, Christian education for grades 3-12. Our emphasis is learning to reason and reflect from a Biblical perspective and from the foundational Biblical principles of each subject.

RGES is a homeschool tutorial service designed to serve homeschool families in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas with one day per week classes in a variety of subjects.

RGES Annual Movie Night on October 1

All families will enjoy the RGES Movie Night on October 1 at Foothills Fellowship Church.  We will watch the inspiring movie, War Room, and begin the movie at 7:30 pm.  The cost is $2 per family and covers the cost of the facility and the snacks and popcorn.  The cost is free if you bring another family.  The movie is open to the public, so invite a friend!  This movie is a good one for the entire family.  Foothills Fellowship Church is located at the corner of Tramway and Candelaria in Albuquerque.
Registration for our 2016-2017 classes.   Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis and begins on the dates listed below.  Please download the registration form, complete the needed information, and include the registration fee plus the materials fees needed for each class in your check made payable to "RGES".  Regular tuition payments for the classes begin June 1, 2016.  Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can always call RGES at 323-8439 with any registration or curriculum questions.


RGES True Hawks, "Defenders of the Truth", Chess Team 

Coach Oren Stevens & Parent Supervisor Trisha Morris organized the True Hawks Chess team in January.   We congratulate the True Hawks for a good starting chess season.  Please contact Mr. Stevens about your interest or about questions for joining the True Hawks.  Call him at 507-4079 or 298-2534.  The chess practice time will be 3:30-4:40 pm. for elementary and midhigh students, and 4:30-5:30 pm. for high school students every two weeks on Thursdays.  There is a small fee for each practice session.  All practices are at Hoffmantown Church in Building D.

The New Student Welcome and High School Cookout is October 7th!

All new high school students (grades 9-12) are invited to attend the New Student Welcome and enjoy a cookout with the Student Government and RGES Faculty.  All high school students are invited!  We meet at Hoffmantown Church Mission Field from 1 - 4 pm. enjoy hot dogs, chips, and cookies together, and then play basketball, soccer, football, and volleyball or just hangout!  Come and enjoy this free event!  Students should bring a bag of chips or cookies to contribute top the food.  Parents are also welcome!  Bring a lawn chair, your appetite, and sunscreen. 

2017 CAPE-NM Convention is April 20-22, 2017.   We are blessed to be a part of and involved with the fine CAPE organization since April 1991.   Make every effort to support and attend this excellent convention.  Thanks to all of you who promote Christian homeschooling in NM!
